The LBV House Hotel is located in the village Pinhão, situated on the right bank of the Douro river, about 17 kilometers from the county Alijó.

Geographic center of the Douro Region, the Pinhão was once an important trading post for the Port wine, taking advantage of its prime location and existence in its surrounding some of the most important estates of the Douro. Today, is the true center of Turism of the region.

Crossed by the main road "duriense", the Pinhão is also obligatory stop for thousands of tourists annually ascend the river cruises or traveling by train along its banks.

The Pinhão station , by its centrality and landscaping, is, moreover, one of the icons of the Douro Line, one of the most beautiful railway routes in the world.
